Printable grading chart for any total

A grading chart lists every score a test can have, next to its percent and letter grade. Teachers sometimes call it an EZ grader chart. With one beside you, a pile of quizzes goes a lot faster, since there's no math to do on each paper. Got a 37-point quiz? Type 37 as the total and the whole chart changes.

Common totals

Letters are set the common way, so 90 and up is an A and 60 is the lowest D. Partial credit, or a school with its own cutoffs? Use the Easy Grader for that.

How to use a grading chart

  1. Type the test's total points, or the number of questions if they all count the same.
  2. Count the points the student earned, or the points missed.
  3. Read across to find the percentage and letter grade.

Print it and keep it on your desk while you grade. Your browser's print window can also save it as a PDF.
